Meagan and Jonathan are two good friends of mine, and I was super excited and honored when they asked me to shoot their upcoming March wedding!! (See them? They’re up in the header!!!)! This was my first in-home session (due largely in part to this year’s ONE CHILL), and it turned out to be a really neat change of pace. The lighting was beautiful, and the whole afternoon was punctuated with their creativity and sense of humor. Did I mention that they are ADORABLE?! (They’re adorable). I had so much fun and there’s no one else I’d rather spend the day tangling in Christmas lights.
Jonathan and Meagan- you two are wonderful. Thank you for inviting me into your future home and including me in the important upcoming business of being wed. I can’t wait for March. :) :) :)
NOW FOR THE PHOTO LOVE.
This is the family of Meagan, Jonathan, and Mal the cat.
I think Mal looks presidential.
Acrobatics on the rug (please note the rug’s inherent awesome).
Third down- “Shhh… don’t speak.”
See? There’s the chill I was talking about.
Blur lights and cat ‘stache.
“No, it’s okay. I’m just going to tie you up in incandescence.”
Then we moved inside where there was much more cozy and much less chill.
(Maybe even a little heat. *eyebrow waggle*)
Round ring and red nails.
Meagan giggles are the best giggles. :)
You should know me better than to think I wouldn’t include a foot picture. I really thought we were closer than that by now.
Cat in the rough.
Meagan and Jonathan are photographers too- a Canon boy and a Nikon girl! They’re currently working out their differences…
But wait… how is this that Meagan got so tall? Only a little magic…
It’s really sad but understandable that Meagan turned into a blanket torso at the end. Afterall, it was cold. I only hope the dress still fits.
